Project ClassificationThis is an unsolicited concept project designed and developed by Safr Labs to demonstrate our creative and technical execution.
The Challenge
Designing a rich, highly sensory café website that captures the inviting warmth of freshly baked goods and artisanal coffee, while delivering robust client-side features (real-time filtering, localStorage wishlists, calendar invite (.ics) generators) without using heavy single-page application frameworks.
The Solution
We built a clean HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript ES6+ custom website experience. Using AOS (Animate on Scroll) for scroll animations, custom SVG icons, and semantic accessibility, we engineered a fast, lightweight platform with a unique Deep Teal, Warm Gold, and Cream color palette.
The Outcome
A fully WCAG 2.1 AA accessible web application featuring a search-optimized 57-item menu (with dietary filters), a time-slot reservation system with automatic calendar invite generation, and full LocalBusiness schema markup. Achieved 95+ scores on Lighthouse Accessibility and SEO.
